I've got a 71 340 Demon project car...#'s motor/tranny/fender tag/vin plate & even build sheet so I'm pretty good with confirming what it is. The last thing I'd like to see with my own eyes is the body stampings.
I understand A bodies have them in at least 2 spots:
Radiator support & under rear tray.
Well this car got sprayed over black & I've got to sand down the spots I think the vin would be at...does anyone know exactly or a good general idea where the factory stamped these things (ie 10" from driver fender on top of radiator or whatever)....I can't seem to see anything right now.
