Been checking out the site for awhile, decided i should finally get around to posting.
I'm from Winchendon, MA on the border with New Hampshire and 40 min ride to Vermont. I finally got my baracuda, my friend had bought a '69 formula S when he was stationed in Germany, it is one of those Eruopean built automontage? cars. He shipped it back when he got out and we got to drive it back the morning of Sept. 11, 2001 from a new york city army dock to cape cod. That was a long trip especially since we had to take back roads since the city had shut down all the bridges and tunnels.
I got a '69 fastback original paint. Traded my '68 el camino with a guy for it (wife had a baby so i needed a car with a back seat) who had bought it from another guy in rhode island who was restoring it. He had replaced the 318 with a 340 and put in 4.10 gears and a cheetah reverse manual valve body (which isn't that fun to drive in this car).
