Battery in trunk cable routing?

When putting the battery in the trunk I have a few questions I`m hoping I can get help with.

1) What route does the positive cable take?
2) I know it`s not necessary but has anyone run a negative cable to the block?
3) I`ve seen some people move the solenoid, should I?
