converting from R12

what is the real scoop & what is truly needled to convert from R12. I had a leaking Schrader valve on my compressor so I lost my refrigerant charge so I had it evacuated & recharged with 134. It blows cool enough air for temps in the 80s to low 90s but isn’t cold enough for when temps get to the high 90s to low 100s. So my question is what is truly needed to convert from R12 to 134. Also does anyone have any experience with freeze 12 it is advertised as a direct replacement for R12

Roller rockers for a 440

I am going to do a 440 source 512 stroker in my 68 Imperial. When I called them and told them my goals he said I should do roller rockers but said I would have fitment issues using my stock valve covers and would need to do some grinding on the rocker arms to get them to clear. Does anyone know of anyone that makes good quality roller rockers that will clear stock valve covers or stock looking valve covers that will clear roller rockers. what works best to keep my vinyl top looking good & to keep it from cracking & etc my 68 imp has the original top & it is still in really good shape & I’d like to keep it that way

Dash pad care

what is the best stuff to maintain your dash pad mine on my 68 imp is starting to show some really small cracks

Leather seat conditioner

is there a specific leather seat conditioner that works best my 68 Imperial has some cracks starting & I would like to use a conditioner to atleast help from them getting worse or slow it down or is there some other way to help the seats?

Idler arm for 68

when I search online for a new idler arm I am only finding a rare parts chassis idler arm which is like $400 plus it looks like for other models like a 300, newport or new Yorker you can get them for $20-50 bucks depending on the brand is the rare part…

Ported and or extrude honed HP exhaust manifolds

I am wondering if anyone on here has had or know anyone that have had their HP exhaust manifolds ported and or extrude honed and if so do you feel like you gained anything? I am going to be rebuilding the 440 in my Imperial & when I do I am going to do a few things to build more power id like to get to the 450-500 hp range but I will definitely not be doing headers I just don’t want the hassle of headers
