904 shifter in the 48…need ideas

So I guess the 48 will need to shift in order to do that whole driving thing that the kids are doing now days. I don’t want to spend the 200 bucks for a lokar shifter so give me some ideas. The interior consists of the stock bench seat, a custom built column, and a 59 Impala dash that has been narrowed so we will need a floor mounted shifter that goes with the interior.
I heard that there were some cable operated auto floor shifters in some of the 60’s mopars, is that true or were they all…

Anything out there?

Fitment of (E-body 727) into an A-body

Dumb question but…..

I’m looking at buying a new 727 for my small block 340 Dart
Found a 1970 transmission out of an E-body-1970 cuda….

Is there any issues getting this into an A-body?

I’ve heard that there is a problem if its not also a console shift, like mine?

Thanks for any guideance

What is this floor shift bracket?

I thought I had everything I needed to convert from a column shift to floor shift, but I found this pic on this site (sorry, I can’t remember whose pic it was, but thanks, I think it was in the “for sale” section).

Anyway, see the circled bracket in the pic. What is this, where does it go, and do I need it?

My car is a 67 Barracuda, installing a 408 (almost done), and I have a 727 ready to bolt in. I’ve installed the console brackets, but haven’t installed the center console yet (just…

holley 4010 kickdown?

is anyone running a holley 4010 carburetor? or similar carb?
the previous owner of my satellite put together the kickdown really screwey.
i just want to see what the kickdown linkage is supposed to look like.
would it be worth buying a lokar kickdown cable setup or sometihng similar?
and how hard are those to set up? will I need any of the original brackets? because i’m not too sure if i’m missing anything.

Holley 750 DP carb

model 4779. pulled from running motor, put it on and go. Will need a can of carb cleaner as I sprayed it down with rust inhibitor prior to anticipated storage. No longer need it, went to FI. Mechanic told me it was a “creampuff” as in GOOD. Still has stock gold color under some age. Unmolested carb, Butterfly’s still staked, Downleg boosters, No choke plate and the linkage arm seems to have a corner cut off (see pic) comes with very nice 2 inch AL spacer, throttle spring bracket and AN bowl…
