’70 Kickdown bracket hits the firewall

I have a 670 cfm Holley on Edelbrock CH4B on top of a rebuilt 440.
The kickdown bracket, which I bought from eBay, is supposed to be correct for a C-body. But it hits the firewall, and leaves about 5 mm gap btw the carb pin and the rear of the slot. – …

Which is correct HP manifold for a ’70 New Yorker?

I’m having my 440 gone through at an engine shop. Very basic rebuild, just to put it back on the road after sitting in a garage for who knows how long. As I couldn’t get a correct ’70 engine, I settled for a ’69. It’s a regular 350hp version, but I’ve asked them to refresh it with HP pieces.

Now, for the left hand HP manifold I have two pieces. The upper one, #2951216, and the lower one, #2863409. But which would be correct for a 1970 model year?

AMC Volcano Center Cap vs Chrysler Road Wheel Center Cap

I have a set of the late style (’75-’78) Chrysler Road Wheel Center Caps, but I need a set of the early ones.
As those are unobtainium, I settled for a set of repop AMC Volcano Center Caps. I paid $138 for a set:

The quality of the repops gave me a pleasant surprise: they are quite nice!
