I wasn't sure where to post this or even if I should. My son has this Jeep with a 2.8L automatic in it and can't seem to keep the pistons where they belong. He just blew his third engine. I put over $1200 into the last one, complete rebuild, and only got about 6k miles out of it. I put him in this gutless wonder to keep him out of trouble, but he is 23 years old and out on his own. Anybody ever put a V8 in one of these? Will a small block Chevy (ducking and running) bolt up to the existing bell?
