8 3/4 question..please advise

My plans are to run a total of 450 - 550 HP... will this rear end hold up?? I have:read2: found one for a couple hundred dollars and want to pick it up but before i do, i am trying to make sure i am making a wise decision... what can anyone advise me with this?????

1-3/8" small stem pinion... (a.k.a. '741')...
Carrier casting numbers: 1820657 (1957-1964), 2070741 (1964-1972).
This assembly was typically used in low weight/low horsepower
applications through low weight/medium horsepower and high weight/low
horsepower applications.
