I have 3 current photos of my car.A few have asked to see photos.Look under Members Photo Gallery and then look for 68383GTS original owner 1-30-09.
The pics were taken the day I found the original owner Dwight Elliott.That is Dwight standing next to the car.He ordered the car in May 1968 while he still was fighting in Vietnam.From 1968-1973 he put 30,000 miles on the car but still made some typical Big Block dart modifictions while still driving it on the street..In 1974 he pulled the original 383 that had been modified by now and replaced it with a 426 MAX Wedge and went racing.Dwight put the car in storage in 1975 or 1976.Dwight owned the car from 1968-1995.The car was driven in 1995 on the street by the second owner.Then it was put into storage from 1995-2005 when I bought it.The car as of 2009 still only has 36,000 hard miles on it.I put a fresh 383 some new inner fenders and alot of new parts and it was back on the street again in Oct,2008.
