Does the hood release on a 66 barracuda have a lever to unhook the hook?
I ask this because the hook on the 66 barracuda doesn't have the flat area (Like my 71 duster) to push up to release the hook portion from the hood latch.
Does that make sense? Another words, when I release the hood latch. the hood jumps up but gets stuck on the hook. Then I must curl my finger around the hook and pull it forward. Then the hood can be pulled open.
The hook doesn't look like it has any damage or rough edges where the handle part would have been or would be.
If it is suppose to....I need one!
