Watching "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot" tonight on a 48" TV. It occurred to me how damn good it looked so I "looked it up" Filmed on 35mm. When you consider how old that thing is it is just absolutely amazing. That useless dink Tarantino was making a big deal out of "he filmed" the "Hateful Eight" in 70mm. Considering that POS film was mostly shot in a dark, dingy log building where a super eight would have been adequate LOL, this decades old 35 stuff is...
